We contacted the company on 8/18/2011 at 2:00 pm and left a message.  Within the hour at 3:00 pm, the company returned our call and informed us that someone would stop by the following week and leave a bid proposal at our front door.  We did not need to be home for the estimate.  The very next day on 8/19/11, a very detailed proposal was left for us at the front door.  We contacted the company on 8/23/2011 and inquired about scheduling the work the following week.  The work was scheduled for 9/2/2011.  Two workers arrived on time and did the job in six hours.  The workers were very friendly, efficient, and cleaned up the area very well after they left.  The entire process was very easy and we would highly recommend this company and would use them again.

Really good work -- [your installer] was great.  They came out first to bid the job and they specified and used all the appropriate materials as a result (not the case with home doctor - another highly rated Angie's list company I do not recommend).  They used steel to eliminate the potential for electrolysis.  They hugged a pillar very tightly for me with about 15' of down-spout...the circumstances of the job was a bit difficult - they were up on ladders on a 2nd deck on my home quite high in elevation..it was windy and raining...they also fixed a down-spout that was not quite long enough to properly fit into a 3" drain pipe...they also fixed a 30' tall downspout that was coming apart -- this required them to unscrew two sections of deck to get to the gutter strap...Finally, they fixed a minor problem with a downspout that was pinched off too much, limiting flow - that wasn't even on the bid...Good guys.  Work was done professionally in 2 hours.  The bid guy showed up and assisted was well - I was happy he was there as I was concerned about safety issues so high on the edge of my deck.  In order to minimize mess in the home, they went around the back and climbed up the deck.  [Your installer] did a good job and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him.

[The estimator] was very prompt in coming out and giving us an estimate. I had filled out the form Monday morning and by Monday afternoon I received an e-mail from [him] saying he would be out Tuesday to do the bid. By Tuesday evening, I had the bid in my e-mail. I waited for other bids and contacted [him] the following Thursday saying we would like to go with Great NW Gutters. In an hour, [he] let me know that our new gutters, down spouts and leaf filters would be installed Friday morning. I came home from work on Friday and was thrilled to see it had all been done. You guys are very prompt and you do great work! As much as I hate to say it, I was thrilled when it rained so we could test out our new gutters. Thank you again!  Keep up the great work! They originally installed copper gutters and leaf guards on our house shortly after we bought it 2 years ago. During the last two winters the gutters had not drained well and were leaking a lot. I called them this Fall to ask them to come out and address the drainage problems. They have a 2-year warranty period for their work. Even though I was calling a few months past the 2 year mark for the work they completed for us, they still honored their warranty and did not charge me for coming back out and the subsequent work to improve the drainage. If fact, they actually gave me a refund for a portion of the work!

Great Northwest Gutters regraded my gutters and added flashing because water was spilling out the sides. Also, they said a downspout was attached incorrectly so they fixed that.  They were good and they gave a free estimate. They came out when they said they would, they were reliable, and I felt like they weren’t trying to sell me something that I didn’t need. They explained practical things like how often I should clean the gutters out. I always appreciate it when they try to help educate; it makes me feel like they know what they are talking about.

Two and a half years ago I began adding 1800 sq. ft. to my house.  When I started I knew nothing about construction.  So needless to say, doing the general contracting of my home was a huge growth period for me.  In that time I have worked with many vendors and contractors to do services for me.  With that said, I must inform you that after working with [the estimator] and the crew that came out to install the gutters I was very pleased and consider Great Northwest Gutters to be one of the best outfits I have worked with.  You were the low bid and the installation was quick and looks great!  Usually you pay for what you get and I was a bit suspicious going with the low bid, thinking it might be sub-standard -- but my budget spoke louder than my fear of poor quality.  With you I got a great price & quality!  Also working with you was simple, easy, and fast!  Congrats guys!  Well done!

A section of our gutter had been removed by a contractor who added a screen porch to the back of our home. This contractor was suppose to re-install the section he removed to the screen porch...he did not and just left it laying in the backyard. After a few heavy rains, (here in Oregon), my husband and I could plainly see that the gutter needed to be replaced as the water run-off was creating a water and muddy mess on our new porch! I sent an e-mail to "Great Northwest Gutters" and was contacted the next day by phone. They came out and did a FREE estimate on re-hanging my gutter laying in the back yard and we scheduled the appointment for the next week. Because we were on vacation the week the repair was scheduled, they could not reach us to say our old gutter could not be used due to how the new eaves were installed by the porch contractor. The following week when we arrived home and discovered why the gutter could not be repaired, we scheduled another service date for the replacement of a new gutter section. This adjustment did not alter their quote one penny! The new gutter has been in full use of late and works perfectly! I recommend and will continue to use this company in the future over any other....they are fantastic and a pleasure to do business with!  "NWGs" is a fine, professional and great company! The whole process from my e-mail to finish was less than 3 weeks and all work performed was excellent!

We had a solid stream of water pouring down the front door. Why?!! Major freakout ensued at our house. Oh man, are we gonna have to replace the whole front porch? Maybe even the whole roof? One theory was the gutter downspout that dumped directly onto the roof right above the soffit. Great Northwest Gutters were quick to provide a reasonable estimate, and scheduled a date to do the work within the next week. They moved the downspout and cleaned out all of the gutters on our two-story house. Done and done. The next time it poured buckets, I opened the door and - like magic - no drippy streams! That's all I could ask for. I wish more panic-inducing issues could be resolved so easily.

Replaced existing gutters on home and installed gutters on new addition (both jobs done at the same time.) including 5 downspouts. Good. No real issues with this company. They did have to come back twice to install downspouts (on the new addition after the siding went on) and also to adjust one of the gutters that was not draining properly. They did these things promptly and completed the job to my satisfaction.

We wanted gutters and down spouts to be installed for two new construction garages and our house, and we used Great Northwest Gutters to come out and give us an estimate.  They are a huge company. I compared their prices with another company. They were going to be $10 more for the house and $3 less for the garages. I find that just incredibly strange because metal is metal - it is just standard stuff and it doesn’t cost that much. They were going to charge an extra $130 to do the gutters and down spouts in color for the two garages. The other provider would have charged me a $100 more. The estimation was done free. They just walked the perimeter and checked the scope of the job. I live in a fairly upscale neighborhood with not that upscale a house, and the people who came here were nice.

Company was very prompt in responding to our request for a bid. We did not shop around for other bids as they had a high rating on Angies List and a couple of roofing contractors mentioned that they were good. They also installed gutters on the Street of Dreams, so we thought they would be pretty good. I could not schedule them to do the job right away as we were getting our roof replaced and needed that to be completed prior to the gutters being installed. We did not know exactly when the roof would be replaced, but called them when we knew the roof would be completed and they were able to schedule the job within a week. Crew was extremely polite and did a great job of installing the gutters and downspouts. They had us inspect the job when it was completed and everything looked fine. The job took about 5 - 6 hours to be completed. When we went to their office to pay for the work, the office staff was very friendly and helpful.

A new copper downspout was connected to an existing copper gutter and then routed to a rain barrel. Quality materials were used and the work was done so well (and integrated into the existing gutter) my husband didn't notice it had been done until I pointed it out to him. The appointment was rescheduled once by them because they were running over on a previous job but they let me know quite early that there was going to be a problem; they were very prompt for the rescheduled appointment.

Last Tuesday your crew installed new gutters on our house. They were pleasant and efficient and I am genuinely impressed by what a great job they did. It was nearly unbearably hot (above 100 degrees) that day. Nonetheless they worked without stop and finished by early afternoon. The gutters are at least as good as I hoped, including liberal sealant at all well-mated joints and flawless in appearance. We contacted the company after seeing an article by the owner in the Angie's List magazine. A representative from the company came to our home the following day to give us an estimate. Because of a busy schedule we delayed calling them back, so in about 2 weeks they called us to check if we had made a decision. We set up a date that was convienient for us. The installers arrived exactly at the time we had been told that they would come. They could have come on an earlier date but our schedule did not fit in with an earlier installation. They proceeded to remove the old gutters. They appeared to work very efficiently. They listened when my husband requested a slight change where a downspout would discharge water and carried out his request. After they completed the work, they asked for a push broom and cleaned up dirt and debris very well. We will not know exactly how well the gutters perform until we have a heavy rain.

[Estimator] came out within 2 days of my initial call and left a detailed estimate of what it would cost for total replacement of gutters vs replacing damaged, leaking gutters. After discussing the estimate with them (I had decided to go with full replacement of all gutters), and mentioning that an additional downspout was needed in the back of the house, they offered to add the downspout at no additional cost. They were able to come out within a few days to complete the work. Somehow in the process the additional downspout was forgotten, when I called to inquire about this, someone came out the same day to add it--it was done by the time I got home from work. They did an immaculate job of clean up and installation. Very impressive.

It was very convenient that we did not have to be home for the estimate or when they completed the work. We came home and it was all completed and looked great. We have not had any other problems since Great Northwest completed the work.

Overall I'm really pleased with the service. After my initial estimate, I told them I was going to call around for price comparisons and they took that very well. I ended up only getting one other estimate from a rival and it was nearly twice as expensive. I called and was able to set up an appointment for the following week. Due to unprecedented snow fall, the job was delayed by a single day; they called and informed me in a timely manner. Again, I'm a well satisfied customer.

[The estimator] from Great Northwest Gutters arrived promptly to look at my existing gutters and give me recommendations and an estimate. As I have black trim he recommended black gutters and a lighter color downspouts to match my house. Although the estimate was not the lowest the workmanship and product surpassed my expectations. [The crew] arrived on the appointed day and time and in two days had all the work done although it was raining at times and even hauling away some previous old extra gutters from my property. They reconfigured some of the incorrect drainage slope of the previous gutters and did a beautiful job.

I had so many leaks in my gutters that I knew it was time for a replacement. Someone came out and provided me a written quote and left it for me when I came home, so I did not even need to be there. The quote was very reasonable so I called to set up the appointment. When I called I asked about gutter guards and different colors and they were very helpful about explaining everything and the value of each and differences in price. They arrived at the stated date and time to perform the work. When they removed the gutters they had me walk around the house to see the condition of the flashing because I told them I was worried about any damage to the roof as the gutters were in such bad disrepair. The installer showed me that the flashing looked good so there was most likely no damage to the roof and he did not find any dry rot. I was very happy with his honesty. The gutter installation was excellent quality and overall very fast. They did a great job cleaning up.

The estimator was prompt in responding and very professional. He informed us that they were 2 weeks out, which wasn't bad at all compared to some other estimates we got...we were getting water in our basement, so time was of the essence. The crew was punctual, friendly and professional. The new gutter installation looks great and works well...they really did a fantastic job. My two complaints are that they did not have enough screen to complete the job on the day they came, and that they didn't have enough room in their truck to haul off our old gutters that day, so they were sitting on our side yard. The crew was supposed to come back in a day or two to finish and haul off the old gutters, but we had to call to remind them a week later (when the bill came). However, all in all we were very happy with the job, and would recommend their services.

They were easy to work with. We had the gutters put on in the middle of a paint job. The gutters were colored and we made the trim the same color so we didn't have to paint the gutters. That took some coordination and they were great. They managed all the changes. I called them numerous times to change things because of the painting and they didn't complain. I think that's absolutely wonderful.

They were very easy to contact via email. I had a response within 24 hours and an estimate within 48 hours. It was a decent price for a good product. It was a large selection of gutter colors and shapes. We were able to schedule the work for the next week. I wasn't able to be at home while the work was completed, but when I did get home that night, the new gutters looked wonderful, and there was no evidence of the old gutters, nails, etc. I would highly recommend Northwest Gutters! They were prompt, easy to contact, answered all my questions, and completed the job in a timely manner, with a quality finished product. (Interestingly, they were one of only 2 companies that returned my initial calls, and the other company was booking 6 weeks out, and only offered brown or white gutters).

They reattached loose gutters in the front and rear on 1973 ranch. Workers removed old nails holding gutters on house and repositioned them into the beams.  Workers arrived on time and did good job. Job took approximately one hour. I thought the price was high for the amount of work and time involved. I had so much trouble getting anyone to come do the repair work that I was happy to get it done, even if I had to pay a little more than I thought was necessary.
