12.29.08 Now that most of the snow and ice is gone, there are a lot of homes with damaged gutters out there.  Remember, call a gutter company quickly as there will be many, many people calling to get repairs and replacements done this week.  But, also remember not to just go with the first company that gets you an estimate.  Even in times like these, it's important to weigh price, service, and quality of work.

12.22.08 With the snow and ice that has hit the Portland area, Great Northwest Gutters was closed all last week and looks as though we'll be closed all of this week too.  If your job was on the schedule for this time, we will be giving you a call next week to reschedule.  We want to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday weekend!  Be careful driving in this weather and give us a call if the ice damages your gutters.

11.26.08 Great Northwest Gutters wants to wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving!  With no rain in the forecast over the long weekend, it's a great time to clean your gutters.

10.13.08 Just a reminder.... winter is coming up quick and the best way to prevent problems with your gutters is to keep them clean!  Regular gutter cleanings will help prevent leaking, overflowing, rusting, and clogging.  This will lengthen the life of your gutters and help eliminate future problems.  If you don't have time or ability to clean your gutters on a regular basis, consider our Sentinel Screen.  It is a great product that works even on the small fir and pine needles.

9.22.08 In case you missed it, Great Northwest Gutters was featured on the "Handy Randy Radio Show" on 860AM KPAM.  Employee Andy Bridge did an interview with Randy answering questions and giving advice on how to keep your gutters in good shape this winter.

9.10.08 With the fall and winters rains coming back in the next month or so, just a reminder that when your gutter overflows, 99% of the time it is because the gutters just need to be cleaned.  Either the gutters are full of debris or one of the downspouts is clogged.  A gutter that is sloped incorrectly can result in standing water, but rarely results in actual overflowing.  Before calling us out to fix your "gutter that is sloped wrong", getting up and cleaning your gutters will usually fix the problem and save you some time and money.

8.18.08 Great Northwest Gutters was once again asked to install the gutters at the Portland Street of Dreams this year.  We will be installing gutters on 3 of the homes this year.... KDC Construction, Lisac Bros. Construction, and Westlake Development.

7.31.08 Great Northwest Gutters was recently featured in an article in the Portland Tribune.  Employee Jon Cutright was interviewed by the Tribune regarding gutter screens and gutter cleanings.  The article featured numerous quotes by Jon as well as a picture of employee Matthew Hackett hard at work.
